Eligibility:

To be eligible, an entrant must be a resident of a city where Velvet Taco is located, including: Scottsdale, AZ; Fort Lauderdale, FL; Atlanta, GA; Chicago, IL; Charlotte, NC; Norman, OK; Tulsa, OK; Oklahoma City, OK; Nashville, TN; Austin, TX; Dallas, TX; College Station, TX; Houston, TX; Fort Worth, TX; San Antonio, TX; Lubbock, TX; The Woodlands, TX; Waco, TX. Team Members, their immediate family members (i.e., parents, spouse, children, siblings, grandparents, stepparents, stepchildren, and stepsiblings and their respective spouses, regardless of where they reside), and members of the same household are not eligible to enter or win the Contest. No purchase is necessary. Must be 18 years of age or older to enter. Entry must be in the English language.

How to Enter:

Entrant may visit https://www.velvettaco.com/wtf-contest at any time during the Promotion Period to enter by completing all required fields on the form; (b) electronically agreeing to the Official Rules; and (c) following instructions to enter an original recipe that they have created. Recipes must include entrant information, recipe name, and list of ingredients. Contest entry is limited to three (3) recipes per person per promotional period. All Contest Entries must be received by August 5th, 2025, at 11:59 PM CT.

Judging:

On or about August 8th, 2025, all recipes will be judged by a qualified panel of judges designated by Velvet Taco based on the judging criteria set forth below. The Judges, whose decisions will be final, shall judge the Entries according to the following Judging Criteria:

• 50% based on the Appeal of the Recipe
• 50% based on the Originality of the Recipe

In the event of a tie, the person among the tied Entrants with the highest score in Appeal of the Recipe will be a Finalist.

Prizes:

Exactly one (1) Grand Prize will be awarded to the Grand Prize Winner. The winning entrant will be given seven (7) days to confirm their acceptance of the Grand Prize. The Grand Prize shall consist of:

$250 Velvet Taco eGift card
One-on-one time with Velvet Taco’s Director of Culinary Innovation to work on the WTF recipe
A featured spot on our WTF menu during the week of National Taco Day, Oct. 1st - Oct. 7th, 2025.

By submitting your recipe, you agree to grant Velvet Taco the right to use your recipe, including all ingredients and instructions, without any compensation or profit-sharing. The ingredients and recipe become the property of Velvet Taco upon submission.
